My Client, situated in Denver is urgently looking for a Quality ManagerLocation: Denver OperationCore Purpose: Reporting to the Engineering Manager. The purpose of the role is the overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and to diligently and efficiently advance the Quality function and drive Continuous Improvement.


This role will closely liaise with the Manufacturing Teams, Sales and Administration to ensure achievement of Quality Objectives.Requirements:  Customer and end-user focussed  Relevant Qualification (Nat Higher Dip., B. Tech, B/ in Quality Management or similar)  TQM Certification; SABS Accreditation: Audit certification  At least five years’ experience in manufacturing environment  Experience managing diverse teams  Working experience on ERP System (Syspro) and MS Office Enable achievement of Quality Improvement objectives (set organization, work practices, procedures, etc.)  Establish annual Group audit schedule  Management Systems to be advanced (i.e. ISO 9001:2008, OHSA, etc.)  Support Projects, as required  Support a Supplier Management process  High attention to detailKey Accountabilities:  Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.  Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems.  Oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements.  Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.  Quality assurance and control which includes the daily checking of products being produced and analysis of quality control failures  Lead a team of Quality Inspectors.  Work with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements.  Dealing with Customer and end-user complaints  Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.  Conduct periodic management review meetings.  Oversee product recalls.  Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.  Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, and issues, with respect to product (service) quality.
